Job Hunting...and playtime ;) Friday, November 28, 2008
Today...super tiring. But still fun la. Met up with Sebastian and Ee Ting again. But with a new person joinin us. Hannah!!! (Dunno if i got the name rite?) Haha.Started the day with Sebas late (as usual) then went off to TPY HDB Hub to look. We went to Breadtalk first. Thhe manager there was super fierce la. Strict guy. Kinda of rude too. But i guess it was neccessary. He really wanted us to think abt our choices carefully before we choose. We left in the end. But that was option number one.
Next, we went on to Orchard.(Since there were more shops there)Went off to Wisma first. Then got lost there. Haha. But we finally found our way to Taka after wandering around lor. When we went there, we saw this "fair" stuff wif Winnie the Pooh and all. We got like super excited la. Me and Sebas rushed down there. Wanted to get a pic wif the Pooh characters at first. But ended up playin. We still got some pictures in the end though.

Afterwards then we finally got down to the nitty gritty lor. Started asking around for jobs. I can only remember a few places though. Went to Stabucks, Auntie Anne, some ice-cream shop, etc (forgot liao). But 1 warning hor. NEVER GO TO CRYSTAL JADE!!!! Their application form is like super long. Super crappy. I do halfway then dun wan do liao. Super horrible. Think i'd have to find one day to type out my own resume... ;)
We met Amanda at her work place too. She looked flustered. I can only imagine that will happen to me if i work there too. I was told by her that the guy promoters working at Taka had to wear formal attire too!!!! Nightmare. Can't imagine myself in a collared shirt wif a tie and long black pants *shudder* worst than any horror movie.
Went to borders later on to ask for work. Ended up looking at the Guiness World Records stuff for dunno how long. But it was fun la. Then met up with Samuel Aw to buy his stuff. Dun think he found it though. Then we went on to Starbucks Cafe. Asked there for job vacancy. But they also wanted full time workers. (Why so many people want full time people?) Ended up leaving there with a Iced Vanilla Latte. Not a bad drink. Think the green tea stuff that Hannah bought won't be suited to my liking. Haha. Then we met Amanda. And i lost count of how many times she hit me in one conversation. In the end, Sebas, Ee ting, Hannah and Samuel went off to watch quarantine. I couldn't cause i had to go home for piano. Accompanied Amanda to walk around Taka for a while and treated her to some yogurt stuff. Then she went to buy pineapples, and then went on to finish them all. The she said she was full la. Haha. So little only. Haha. But it was kind of her to guide me back to the MRT station in the end. So i have to thank her. Then i got on the train lor.
Hmmmmms. So that was how my day turned out lor. Another job hunting day which ended up in having fun. Haha. This is becoming a habit. Haha. But no regrets her. Looking forward to go out with u guys again!! Its been fun.
